Go outside and play!

We love this time of year at our house. Most days are spent in the yard hanging with the fam. The best part of it is watching my garden grow...

... and yes, I had a garden before Michelle Obama made them so popular. lol The Siberian Iris and the Hosta are my family heirloom plants. I look forward to seeing them growing in my granddaughter's garden one day.

I'm jealous of your iris'. When we moved down here, I had to leave so many plants behind. Fortunately, my dad still has some peonies that he took from our old house. I just need a place to plant them.

Rix, don't be jealous! When you get a spot, let me know and I will break you off a piece...

Several years ago, I purchased irises at a farm on River Road somewhere (paid too much). But the iris in the picture, I purchased from an old woman at a garage sale. They are the most beautiful flower I know (I know quite a few).

I recently purchased a topsy turvey tomatoe plant thingy - wait until you see my tomatoes!

By the way - have you tried container gardening?
