I am not a mommy, but am aunt to several neices and nephews with whom I am very close,which in my opinion makes me a direct extension of mommy. I didn't get breakfast in bed, no gifts, not even a card. But I did get countless hugs and kisses and several thank yous for being a great aunt. Prepearing brunch for my mom and four sisters was a honor and delight. And non of the children had to go home with me, Ahh it was a great day:)
It's a little embarrasing how commercial it has become, but you won't hear me turning down breakfast in bed and gifts.

It was great. Breakfast in bed, gifts around noon, brunch with all the other mommies in the family. There is no doubt in my mind that I am a BIG DEAL!
