District 150 has a new website. They still have some bugs to iron out, but you can get the gist of where they are going with it.
I like that they are clearly trying to sell you on the District. What do you think?

I think the statement under the picture of the board members is rude and arrogant. To paraphrase, they act as a board, they cannot do things individually.....they can listen, can't they? I believe this is just another way to "push away anyone who questions them".
I believe I found an error. Under FOIA is stated, "A new Freedom of Information Act Law went in to effect on January 1, 2009." The new law went into effect on January 1, 2010. At least, the reason I was given for the rejection of one of my FOIA's was that the FOIA officer and lawyer were becoming familiar with the new law--2009 wouldn't be new--and the date is 2010.
I like it. More informative, better organized, easier to navigate. All good in my book, though I didn't go there looking for errors! ;) I'm pleased that the district realized that they needed to make some changes...
