Do you know where your kids are? From what I'm hearing on the scanner somebody’s kids are running wild in the streets. Would you PULEEASE come get your young black male and have him to sit his a** down some where.

There was activity in several areas last night--six blocks from me, too. Unfortunately, as summer approaches, this activity will probably increase. Some of these "kids" aren't kids any more and don't live with their parents. More and more it seems to be an unsolvable problem.
The problem is not unsolvable, but no one wants to hear the solution. It is a matter of teaching your children to respect the rights of others. It is a matter of taking the time and responsibility to parent your children, to monitor their activities, and to know who their friends are. It is a matter of teaching your children to respect the law. If you teach your children that they are victims of the majority, that they will never be given respect, that they are the disenfranchised and will never be treated fairly because of their class, then what reason do they have to act responsibly in a society? Yes, there are some people in the society who will do those things, but they are not the majority. The majority of us want to live a peaceful, routine life, a life free from harassment and unnecessary strife.
If you want to see disrespectful behavior, show up when Glen Oak School is letting out. There are Lincoln Middle Schoolers over there creating problems....on top of the ones with the kids in the school. Really makes me wonder if ANYONE is raising their kids or are they raising themselves to be hethens.
