This should certainly put to rest not only the nonsense with the birthers but also end their beliefs that Obama is a Muslim out to destroy the United States. But whu should I believe that even this event will make a difference? Unfortunately, people don't give up their fears and hatred that easily.
Fox News will implode if they have to give any credit to President Obama. The Donald will demand to see the death certificate and Palin will ask; "Who is Bin Laden?"
My latest blog is up.
Remember, it was Bill Clinton who had Bin Laden by the hand and let him go, prior to 9-11. BTW, Obama didn't get Bin Laden, the CIA and the Armed Services (men and woman), risking their LIVES everyday brought him down....NOT obama.
Under orders from Obama while under his watch. No matter how much you hate to give him credit for anything, you can't get around this one.
Anonymous (the one who says that Obama gets no credit). We all understand that is the men and women who service in our armed forces that made all of this possible. However, if this happened under Bush's watch, you undoubtedly have given him credit. The U. S. President is always given the credit he deserves for events that take place under his watch--as well as bearing the blame for the negative events. Case in point, of course, is that the U.S.'s financial problems didn't start when Obama took office, but the blame has certainly been placed at his feet.
The previous Anonymous is not Anonymous.
Why is it Anonymous is always boldly going and saying what no man or woman with any other name dare to go. Frederick, this is not the time or place to pump up your new blog.Sincerely, Anonymous
What one minute. First of all Bin Laden was originally trained by the CIA. That was back when he was fighting the Russians. He was a dear friend then. Was that under Reagan or Bush? I think Reagan. I am not sticking up for President Obama, I just like to have the facts correct.
Why not stick up for Obama? We did kill him on his watch. If Bush had been President what do you think would have been the reaction? We would have crowned him. In this case, President Obama scored and show us that he is a serious contender to be President and re-elected President. While on the GOP side, they are busy with birth certificates, school grades, cutting education, programs for the poor, and wiping out Medicare and Medicaid. Making silly statements like our President may be Muslim.Yes we could have had Bin Laden under Clinton but he really wasn't the wanted man that deemed entering a country illegally to go after. Obama did just that though the other night and if he had told the Pakistani leaders what he was going to do, they would have objected and or tipped off Bin Laden. Bin Laden was created by the US and yes it was Reagan.
By posting the link to my blog, I was simply saving myself the effort of cut and paste, or retyping it. I stand behind the link, since it expresses my opinion on the comments made. And apparently Emerge didn't mind.
PAP, I am not disagree with you at all. If I were to "stick up" for President, and we should call him President not just Obama, I would be beaten down. I was merely trying to make the point that our government helped create BinLaden. Back in the day when the presidents were "good ole boys" spoutin God and country. That was the point I was trying to make.
Understand your point JANUS and I agree. Bin Laden was our best friend when he was fighting the Russians in Afghanistan. Reagan throw money and weapons at him and when the Russians pulled out, we abandoned those people. That is one reason Bin Laden turned on us. Watch the movie "Charlie's War". Now that I have thought about this event and watched the news and listening to the propaganda that is Fox, I think ex-President Bush deserves none of the credit and I am convinced that if the shoe was on the other foot, and Bush was President, it would be all Bush. No, this event is President Obama's and he deserves our thanks as do our military.
