After being all over the Internet pushing what she calls “Jazzie Medicine”, which is supposed to be some kind of stress reliever, Jazzie Summers a/k/a Amanda Garren must have surely thought her prayers had been answered when she landed a councilman (if allegations against 5th District Councilman Dan Irving are true).This disillusioned young lady has been hard at work, with regular ads running on the Internet, saying crap like this:
"Hey Boys Its Ur Number 1 Lady Ms. Jazzie Summers. I'm The Perfect Party Girl And All You Need To Treat Yourself From The Days Stress So Come Get Your Jazzie Medicine And Let Me Take Your Stress Away For Many Days To Come. I Love To Try New Things And Will Always Try My Best To Give The A-1 Service U Always Look For But Can Never Find."
She was also arrested in April, 2011, along with three others (this is probably related to the outstanding warrant from Iowa for not appearing in court on a petition to revoke her probation for prostitution, that is referred to in the pjstar article):

IOWA CITY — Amanda L. Garren, 18, of Wilton, IA,Rachel M. Foster, 20, of Peoria, IL, Erica E. Kauer, 19, of Silvis, IL and Stephanie M. South, 27, of Silvis, IL were arrested for prostitution at the Coralville Baymont Inn on Thursday evening.
Coralville police were dispatched to the location following reports of suspicious activity. After contacting the accused, each woman allegedly admitted that they had posted ads online to meet men and had traveled to the hotel with intent to commit sex acts for money, police reports said.

This baby faced young lady has been way to busy to just be 18 years old. Hopefully, this latest arrest will get Amanda Garren off the streets and in a place where she can get some help.
As far as Councilman Irving, if the allegations prove true, Gloria Cassel-Fitzgerald just may get that seat after all.

what a hot a** mess! i don't blame his wife i would have dropped a dime on his behind to!
While Mr. Irving is still considered innocent until proven guilty: if he does end up resigning, you would think they would appoint Ms. Fitzgerald; however, there are probably too many other money/power folks in the 5th district that would get it before her, unfortunately.
What they should do, if allowed, is appoint Chuck Weaver to that seat, and appoint someone else from 1st or 3rd district to Weaver's At-Large Seat.
Poor Mr. Irving this girl is obviously a computer savvy predator. She probably set him up.
The Peoria Journal star article said that he is accused of "engaging in sexual activity ...at some point between March 1 to June 30."
The article Emerge shows above says Jazzie was busted in Iowa on April 15. Hmmmm.. was the councilman part of the April Iowa bust?
The pjstar stated that Mr. Irving's wife called Lyons and gave him info...

Sheriff McCoy's ex-wife arrested for keying his county-owned vehicle
The ex-wife of Peoria County Sheriff Mike McCoy has been arrested for allegedly damaging his county-owned vehicle while it was parked in Peoria restaurant parking lot.
Sherianne McCoy was arrested for criminal damage to property between $300 and $10,000 but has not yet been formally charged by the Peoria County State's Attorney's Office.
A detective with the Peoria Police Department was assigned to investigate after the sheriff reported the damage, though it wasn't immediately clear when or where the damage occurred.
We can enjoy living in Peoria if for no other reason than always having something crazy to talk about on the blogs. Our streets are crazy, our schools are crazy, and so are our civic leaders and their wives. Gotta love the river city.
Well this is nothing new. The city is corrupted with people like irving for instance Robert Powers of the Peoria Historic Commission. He should really step down he has not only been with prostitutes, but also men and he is married.
