I'll tell you why Ceelo...
A newspaper that regularly allows hateful, racists comments to run unchecked, would of course endorse a person for President of the United States, that is on record saying that he doesn't even care about 47% of Americans. Nope, no surprise here. As a matter of fact, this endorsement would be consistent with everything the newspaper stands for on a daily basis.

A small sampling from the regular pjstar audience who are allowed to make racist statements every time the newspaper runs an article with anything to do with African-Americans...
and...
So again, no surprise here.

Racist? [citation needed]
Obama’s campaign has been all about attacks, bitterness and class warfare. His record is bad, so he attacks. The PJS endorsed him last time and based their current findings on his failed record. Obama has failed and attempts to play the card are small-minded and petty. Obama has been judged by his actions, not by his ethnicity.
I'm with Vonster. The comments about stealing are just plain STUPID. Do you use the report link or just complain here about it. I have done this on several ocassions and comments were removed.
Eye in the Sky
I haven't been able to comment in the pjstar since I started by blog. When I did comment, my comments were regularly deleted. Yet, they continue to allow comments like the small sampling I have posted. Look at ANY article about African-Americans in the pjstar and notice the vitriolic comments that are allowed to sit.
Everytime anyone picks someone other than An Afro American the first action is to pull the race card. Obama is weak and the PJS ndorsed him the last time. I would be correct in saying the only reason the majority of Afro Americans voted for Obama was because he is of black heritage. As far , as the journal star, most of the crimes commited in the city is black on black crime. Ciome you can't have it both ways you want run things well then do a good job. Where is the black community dealing with the crimes in Peoria. Stop making excuses, of course racism still exists but it is not causing young black men to kill each other.
BTW, it's nice to see Ceelo not dressed like a pimp for once...
Is it ever really "nice to see Ceelo"
Are you saying that the Journal Star blocks Emerge Peoria, but they allow Emtronics, CJ Summers and Billy Dennis to post to their boards?
Your president has been the most racist, divisive president in history so Physician, heal thyself. One more day!
There are none so blind that will not see. Again, Romney may be white, but you need to know the history of the Mormans. Also, he was given a deferment from duty in Vietnam because of his religous beliefs. So, will his religion stop him from sending other people to war? This is the same trash as Cheney who had five deferments from Vietnam. He sure didn't mind sending others to die. No everyone is crying about what happened in Lybia, but what about all those who are dead and maimed in Iraq, (notice I did not say Afganistan). I like how some people have selective memories. Bush wasn't a liar? He was an incompetant puppet of Dick Cheney, and I for one do not want to go back to that.
Both candidates were raised by white women. Maybe someday, Emerge. Maybe someday.

"Maybe someday, Emerge. Maybe someday"
Meaning what, exactly?
Emerge, I am concerned that your comments aren't allowed on the PJS. Did you pay the extra money to be allowed the right to comment? If so, then I am quite disturbed and would want to pursue that further.
As to the election, I am so tired of all of this campaign, that I am now ready to wait for the election results. Unfortunately, the votes are the votes, and I will have to accept whoever is elected President. I am, also, very tired of all those who are accusing blacks for voting for Obama because he is black. Maybe if the Republicans would have run a black candidate, you would have seen the black vote split--because, at this point in history, blacks usually (not always) vote for the Democrat, so whoever ran on the Democratic ticket would get the majority black vote.
I just read a comment from one of my Facebook friends who stated that anyone who votes for Obama in unpatriotic. Now I am offended by that. I have never before been told that my vote was unpatriotic. Calling what probably will be over 40% and maybe over 50% of the voters unpatriotic is beyond my comprehension of civility and decency. Vote and if your man wins, be happy. And if our man doesn't win, we will have to live with it as we have lived with all the other times we were less than a majority who didn't get our way. That's why we call this a democracy.
I have often voted for a Republican in the past and will be happy to do so in the future if Republicans can find a message for all of us. So far the message I hear is to those who favor big business and to the religious right. Democrats used to appeal to union members--face it the unions are all but dead with teachers still trying to hang on. Democrats are left to appeal to the poor and some of the middle class. The political platforms of both parties need some drastic changes. Both parties need to try to appeal to all Americans instead of just these polarizing groups.
And, most of all we need to stop this continual campaigning. I heard a reporter on TV say that the campaign for the next President will begin on Wednesday--no wonder there is deadlock.
Hi Sharon:
No, I don't subscribe to the newspaper. Anyhow, I was blocked long before the pay wall went up.
Sharon - your President called George W Bush's debt unpatriotic, and then added another 5 TRILLION to it. He also told a 6 year old girl that his opponent was a bullshitter, told women to vote for him because it would be like losing their virginity, and had people on the verge of senility scream obscenities to voters who planned to vote for Romney. Now I didn't see you anywhere complaining about THAT!
Still no answer to the racist question but, more importantly, will blacks riot like a bunch of petulant children if Soetoro is not re elected?
I fear there may be riots if Romney wins. I hope not.
I guess I knew you would follow me here. Sorry to break the news to you, but he is still your President, too. Romney might be your candidate now. If he wins, he will, also, be my President. Same goes for Obama--we have only one President--not yours and mine. All these little quotes mean nothing out of context and we can find as many questionable comments by Romney--it's a political game.
There will be no riots. Obama will win this handily but the GOP will contest, whine, and moan in some states.
If Barack Obama is re-elected, will Mitch McConnell or another high-ranking Republican speak before a right-wing group again, and announce "Our main priority will be to deny the Democrats another White House win in 2016"? Probably, but will be said in private this time.
If Mitt Romney is elected, will Dick Durbin or another high-ranking Democrat speak before a liberal group, and announce "Our main priority will be to deny Romney a 2nd term"?
Heck no, the Democrats have had more respect for the office of the President than the Republicans have. Yes, the Democrats disagree with the GOP politics, even block legislation just like the GOP does but they still respected the office.
One more thing...I have no problem seeing parodies, cartoons, and satires poking fun at a President's politics...that's been going on since before Lincoln's time. But when you see parodies, cartoons, and satires poking fun at President Obama because of his RACE..that is pathetic, just pathetic. Especially when you see Web photos of an Obama effigy being hung like the old days of lynching.
Someone show me a picture, cartoon, or satire poking fun of a past President, GOP or Democrat, because he was white. I dare you. I double dare you.
Yesterday the Journal Star endorses Romney (the candidate who has been proven a liar and will do and say anything depending on which crowd he is front of). Today, they make a statement like this...
"There isn't the time or the space here to recount all the fabrications that have been committed in political ads this year... As always, beware the candidate who will do or say anything to win."
FUNNY pjstar.
Well at least we don't have to worry about riots.
Yeah, whew that was close right? Now, all we need to worry about is all of the gun lovers who are running around crying revolution!
