The Peoria Housing Authority has decided not to renew the collective bargaining agreement with its trade-union employees. They want their residents to work on receiving training and eventually find a job; this would be a good time to start their own in-house welfare to work program.Business agents of all trades impacted were advised on Thursday that the PHA plans to send a formal 60-day notice of the intention not to renew the agreement.
